The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam implements a co-hosted Japanese Doll Exhibition program by temporarily lending our traditional Japanese dolls to organizations based in Vietnam (Individuals are not eligible). This program aims to provide broader audiences across various regions of Vietnam with opportunities to experience Japanese culture.
Please follow the instructions below:
Procedures before renting out
Step 1: Read and agree to the 1. Application Guideline for Japanese Dolls Exhibition.
Step 2: Download and fill out the Application Form and submit with attached documents to JF (Depending on the project, JF may request applicants to submit additional materials).
Points to note when filling out the form:
– File Format: WORD format, no signature or seal required; PDF or handwritten versions are not accepted.
– Language: English or Japanese. We do not accept applications in Vietnamese or other languages only.
Step 4: Send an email to our center (jpfhanoi@jpf.go.jp) with the completed application form and a statement that you agree to the Terms of Use.
Step 5: JF notifies the result of application. The necessary documents for traveling exhibition will be sent to the approved applicants.

– Events in Hanoi: 10 working days prior to the event date (not including Saturday, Sunday and holidays)
– If delivery is required outside of Hanoi: 15 working days prior to the event date (not including Saturday, Sunday and holidays)
Conditions for exhibition
The space to exhibit that should meet the following requirements is to be prepared by the applicant side.
– An indoor space is approximately from 40m2 to 50m2, and it should be locked for security reasons.
– Air conditioning is preferred. If not, the indoor space should be in cool atmosphere without direct sunlight and required humidity is under 50%.
– At least 1 security guard and 1 receptionist should be dispatched during the exhibition.
