The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam (hereinafter referred to as “the Center”) rents its classrooms and exhibition halls (hereinafter referred to as “the Facilities”) to outside parties.
1.In principle, the Facilities may be used from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., from Monday to Sunday.
2.Applications for use of the facilities must be made by groups, and applications for use by individuals will not be accepted. 3.
3.The Facilities may be used for any of the following projects related to Japan. However, the following 4. is excluded.
(1) Projects related to the introduction of Japanese culture or international cultural exchange
(2) Projects related to Japanese studies or academic exchange with Japan
(3) Projects related to Japanese language education
(4) Other activities that the director of the Center specifically approves considering the purpose of the Center’s activities.
4. The following types of activities are not allowed.
(1) Businesses that are highly commercial
(2) Businesses that aim to sell goods
(3) Political, religious, or similar activities
(4) Businesses that are deemed likely to disrupt the orderly operation of the facilities or harm the public interest
(5) Other activities deemed inappropriate by the director of the Center
5.Who wants to use the Facilities are required to fill out the “Application for Use of Facilities” (Form 1) and submit it to the Center at least 4 weeks prior to the date of commencement of use, as a general rule. After checking out the details of the application, the Center will notify the applicant whether the use is approved or not
6.The applicant must faithfully comply with the “Rules of Facilities Use ” when using the facilitiies. No one is allowed to enter the facilitiies other than those who have been granted permission to use it.
