Membership
- Eligibility
- Vietnamese residents.
- Foreigners with no less than 6 months of residency in Vietnam.
- Application process
- Prepare a copy of your ID card/passport, certification of permanent residency (for foreigners) and two 2x3cm profile photos taken recently within the last 6 months.
(Readers under 16 years old can submit a copy of other relevant ID document such as student card ID or ID card/passport of a legal guardian.) - Fill in the application form (can be taken directly at the library or downloaded from our website: www.jpf.org.vn), submit it with the above mentioned documents to the librarian and pay the membership fee.
(Please bring the original ID card or passport at the time of application for verification.)
- Membership fee
- Management fee: 60,000 VND/year (non-refundable)
- Deposit: 200,000 VND
(The deposit will be refunded when only you comply with the regulations and request for membership cancellation.)
- Membership validity
- Library membership is valid for 1 year immediately after registration.
(You can start borrowing materials right away using the receipt for membership fee payment while you wait for the card to be issued.) - Membership must be renewed in no more than 14 days before the expiration date.
- Management fee: 60,000 VND
(If you don’t renew it on time, your data will be deleted without notice, and you will have to perform the application process all over again with the full membership fee including the management fee and deposit.)
- Case of loss
- Inform the librarian immediately if you lose the member card.
- Replacement fee: 5,000 VND/time
