The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam offers small-scale grants for international exchange projects in the following three areas: Cultural and Artistic Exchange, Japanese Language Education, and Japanese Studies and International Dialogue. Please find the detailed guidelines and application forms for each category available for download at the links provided below.

1. Cultural and Artistic Exchange

• Eligibility: Vietnamese institutions and organizations engaged in cultural and artistic exchange activities (applications from individuals are not eligible).
• Application Deadlines:
  <First round>: July 10, 2024 (for projects commencing after August 15, 2024)
  <Second round>: September 10, 2024 (for projects commencing after November 1, 2024)
  <Third round>: November 10, 2024 (for projects commencing after January 1, 2025)

2. Japanese Language Education

2.1. Grant Program to Promote Japanese Language and Support the Development of Japanese Language Education 

• Eligibility: Vietnamese institutions and organizations that offer Japanese language education to promote the Japanese language and develop its teaching in Vietnam. This includes Japanese language education groups, teacher associations, and academic associations (applications from individuals are not accepted). 
• Application Deadline: November 22, 2024

2.2. Grant Program for Japanese Language Education for Daily Life and Work 

• Eligibility: Vietnamese institutions and groups offering Japanese language education aimed at daily life and work in Japan, including universities, colleges, vocational schools, and private language centers (individuals are not eligible). 
• Application Deadline: October 31, 2024

3. Japanese Studies and International Dialogue

• Eligibility: Vietnamese institutions and organizations engaged in Japanese studies and international dialogue (applications from individuals are not eligible).
• Application Deadlines:
  <First round>: July 10, 2024 (for projects commencing after August 15, 2024)
  <Second round>: September 10, 2024 (for projects commencing after November 1, 2024)
  <Third round>: November 10, 2024 (for projects commencing after January 1, 2025)
