To meet the diverse needs of Japanese language learners worldwide and to create a conducive environment for continuous and accessible Japanese language education, the Japan Foundation has developed a variety of resources. These include printable materials, instructional videos, and dedicated websites to support both Japanese language teachers and learners. Additionally, the Foundation provides comprehensive information related to teaching ideas, learning materials, as well as insights into Japanese culture and society. 

In recent years, the number of Vietnamese residing in Japan for work, internships, and study has significantly increased. To support this growing community, the Foundation has developed specialized teaching materials and methods tailored to meet their needs. 

One of the key resources is the “Marugoto – Japanese Language and Culture” textbook series. This series enables learners to improve their Japanese communication skills while deepening their understanding of Japanese culture. The Foundation has also introduced the “Irodori – Japanese in Life” series, which equips learners with essential communication skills needed for everyday situations in Japan. 

In addition to these textbooks, the Japan Foundation organizes introductory sessions on “Minato”, an online Japanese learning platform, alongside practical classroom observation sessions. The Foundation also hosts training sessions and workshops to introduce these learning materials, showcase sample lessons, and participate in exhibitions. 

For the “Marugoto – Japanese Language and Culture” series, the Foundation is progressively publishing the Vietnamese version of the textbooks to better serve learners in Vietnam.
