III. About the Japanese Language Proficiency Test:

A. Four levels are included:
Level 4: Candidates must attend at least 150 hours of Japanese language classes (800 lexicological units, 100 Kanji words).
Level 3: Candidates must attend 300 hours of Japanese language classes (1500 lexicological units, 300 Kanji words).
Level 2: Candidates must attend 600 hours of Japanese language classes (6000 lexicological units, 300 Kanji words).
Level 1: Candidates must attend 900 hours of Japanese language classes (10.000 lexicological units, 2.000 Kanji words).

B. Subjects required for each level:
1. Writting – Vocabulary
2. Reading – Grammar
3. Listening

IV. Benefit of candidates:
Candidates who achieve the qualifying marks will be given a certificate by The Japan Foundation.

V. Terms and conditions for applicant:

All candidates should purchase their registration form at the Hanoi University or at the University of Foreign Studies – Hanoi National University. Remember to bring the following procedures:

– 02 photos (3×4)
– 02 stamped envelopes. (Write down your name and address)
– Fee for the test
