The Japan Foundation would like to extend its deepest gratitude for the many heartfelt messages of encouragement and support it has received from Vietnam and other countries of the world, intended for the people living in Japan in the wake of the Tohoku-Pacific Earthquake of 11 March 2011.

We will overcome this tragedy in close cooperation with the people of Japan and people all over the world in order to rebuild the affected areas. The Japan Foundation will do its best to continue to work in order to maintain and enhance international cultural exchange and international cooperation.

At this time, we plan on implementing the scheduled programs and projects as much as possible, but also ask for your kind understanding in case of any changes due to the effects of the recent earthquake.
