A free and interesting event for kids
Ehon is made up of the characters 絵 (e: picture) and 本 (hon: book), refering to a kind of picture book for children. Ehon usually tells short stories with simple structure, suitable for small children. But the most appealing feature of ehon has to be the adorable illustrations, helps to nurture not only the language and intelligence abilities, but also the emotions and imagination.
In this event, children will be read two interesting stories: “Quả dưa hấu khổng lồ (The giant watermelon)” and “Mẹ giặt đồ (Mama washing clothes)”. We will also experience some of Tanabata festival’s traditional activities: making simple origami decorations by hand, writing and hanging wishes onto the bamboo tree.
