The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam and Nha Nam Publishing and Communications Join stock Company (Nha Nam) collaborate to introduce an exhibition of “Book cover design contest, Murakami Haruki’s book  “KILLING COMMENDATORE””  from 23^rd October to 9^th of November, 2020 at The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam, 27 Quang Trung, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi.

Murakami Haruki is one of the most famous Japanese writers and his books are well known all over the world and translated into many languages including Vietnamese.

From 1^st August to 30^th September 2020, we organized a contest to design the cover of Vietnamese edition of his latest book “Killing Commendatore”, which will be published by Nha Nam this December, and more than 300 applicants submitted the cover design inspired by its story.

As a result of judgement by contest committee and public reaction on Facebook fan page, 4 cover designs have been selected as a prized winner and 1^st prize design can become a candidate for the official cover of Vietnamese edition. We display 18 excellent works in this exhibition including it.
